​I usually receive over a dozen or so inquiries each week.  Please remember that I would much rather be raising puppies, training or playing with my goldens instead of doing paperwork/reviewing puppy applications as soon as they are received.  I realize that you are excited and anxious, but please be patient.  Sometimes I can review it  in less than 24 hours...and sometimes it may take weeks.  During the busy hunt test seasons, I review applications (in the order that they are received) about twice a month...so it could be weeks before you hear from me (but hopefully you won't have to wait that long.  Selecting the perfect families for my puppies is an important part of my breeding program and I do not want to rush through anyone's application.  If you haven't heard from me, you are welcome to email me to check the status.  ​​

​Please note that full breeding rights cannot be obtained until pup reaches 2 years of age and has all health/genetic clearances and is proven in the field.
​Most of my puppy buyers want a darker color golden (that's my preference too)...and most of my pups grow up to be darker golden adults...but it is important to note that NO reputable breeder can predict the precise coloring/shading of their pups.  There are times when a ilghter pup has been born out of darker parents (usually due to an ancestor several dogs back in their pedigree).  I can promise to always be honest to you regarding my opinions but cannot guarantee that a particular puppy will turn out to be a particular shade.
​ I GIVE PREFERENCE TO THOSE WHO WANT THEIR NEW PUP TO DO HUNT TESTS, FIELD TRIALS, AND/OR TRAINING WITH US.
